This tilt sensor is a single-pole single-throw (ON/OFF) switch with a maximum current of 0.25A, maximum voltage of 30VDC (resistive), maximum power of 0.24W, and a typical mechanical life of 1,000,000 operations. The operating angle is typically 11 degrees above horizontal for activation and typically 6 degrees above horizontal for return, with a typical response time to return to rest of 2.5s and a maximum typical value of 9s (rotational disturbance). The housing is a sealed black ABS (minimum flammability rating 94HB), with leads consisting of 2 x 20AWG stranded black SXL insulated wires. The operating temperature range is -40°F / -40°C to 165°F / 74°C, suitable for outdoor use but not submersible, operates normally in weak or absent magnetic fields, and is unaffected by ferrous environments.
