Sentis TOF - M100 is a new 3D sensor operating on the Time-of-Flight (ToF) principle. The M100 is equipped with a PMD PhotonICs 19k - S3 ToF 3D chip. This intelligent 3D sensor simultaneously delivers depth information and grayscale image data for every pixel. Scenes can therefore be analyzed based solely on 3D data or in combination with 2D grayscale data. Using active infrared illumination, the sensor captures 3D and 2D information at a resolution of 160×120 pixels, up to 40 frames per second, independent of ambient light. With a measurement range of 3 meters, a field of view of 90°, and compact dimensions of only 50×55×36 mm, the sensor connects via Ethernet and is suitable for next-generation sensor systems across a wide range of applications, including robotics, gesture recognition, human-machine interaction, and people counting.
