The M422 is a Pt temperature sensor compliant with DIN EN 60751, covering a temperature range of -70 °C to +500 °C with temporary exposure capability up to +550 °C. The M-Series RTDs offer long-term stability and excellent accuracy across a wide temperature range. Combining performance with high-volume availability, the M422 is suitable for pyrolysis furnaces, home appliances, HVAC, medical equipment, industrial process monitoring, and more. The measurement point is located 8 mm from the end of the sensor body. Available in multiple tolerance classes, with a temperature coefficient TCR = 3850 ppm/K. Response times vary by medium; measurement current varies by resistance value. Additional specifications include long-term stability, self-heating, insulation resistance, vibration resistance, and shock resistance, as well as connection technology, lead type, lead tensile strength, packaging, and shelf life.
