TI ISO1050DUBR

The ISO1050 is a galvanically isolated CAN transceiver that meets or exceeds the technical specifications of the ISO11898-2 standard. This device features several logic input and output buffers separated by a silicon dioxide (SiO2) insulation barrier. The insulation barrier is rated at 2500 VRMS for the ISO1050DW described in the first paragraph and for the ISO1050DUB. When used with an isolated power supply, this device prevents noise currents on the data bus or other circuits from entering the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuits. As a CAN transceiver, this device provides differential transmit and receive capabilities for CAN controllers with bus and signaling speeds up to 1 megabit per second (Mbps). Designed to operate in particularly harsh environments, this device features wire shorting, overvoltage, ground loss protection from -27V to 40V, and thermal shutdown, as well as a common-mode range from -12V to 12V. The ISO1050 is rated for an operating ambient temperature range of -55°C to 105°C.
