Introduction
The NCD2100 is an EEPROM-based digitally programmable variable capacitor designed to provide capacitance offset adjustment for capacitance-sensitive circuits. Through a simple two-wire serial bus, non-volatile EEPROM register values can be easily programmed or capacitance values changed on demand. The NCD2100 offers 1024 discrete capacitance values across a nominal range of 6.6pF to 37.553pF with a step size of 0.063pF, making it ideal for ensuring proper operation of capacitance-critical circuits. Additionally, to ensure interoperability across a wide range of design environments, the NCD2100 is rated for operation from 2.5V to 5.5V over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
