Introduction
The DRV5023-Q1 device is a chopper-stabilized Hall-effect sensor that provides a magnetic field sensing solution with excellent sensitivity stability and integrated protection features over the entire temperature range. When the applied magnetic flux density exceeds the B_OP threshold, the open-drain output of the DRV5023-Q1 will go low. The output will remain low until the magnetic flux density drops below B_RP and then becomes high impedance. The output sink current capability is 30 mA. A wide operating voltage range (2.7 to 38 V) with reverse polarity protection up to -22 V makes this device widely suitable for various automotive applications. The device provides internal protection against reverse supply conditions, load dumps, and output short-circuit or overcurrent faults.
