Introduction
To comply with published safety standards, the following requirements must be observed when using this power supply. Excluding +5 Vsb, the DC/DC module has a maximum continuous total output power of 1158W at input voltage 200 - 240Vac / 254 - 300Vdc, maximum ambient temperature 50℃, and normal airflow direction; 750W at input voltage 100 - 240Vac / 120 - 300Vdc, maximum ambient temperature 50℃, and normal airflow direction; and 600W at input voltage 100 - 240Vac / 120 - 300Vdc, maximum ambient temperature 40℃, and reverse airflow direction. Excluding +5 Vsb, output power shall be derated by 2.5% per 1℃ rise in ambient temperature from 50℃ to 70℃ under normal airflow, and from 40℃ to 60℃ under reverse airflow. The power supply is intended for use as a component in other equipment. When installing the power supply and making input and output connections, applicable safety standards such as UL 60950-1 and IEC 60950-1 must be observed. The power supply is approved and certified for use within the rated voltage range of AC 100V - 240V / 200 - 240V or DC 120Vmin - 300Vmax / 254Vmin - 300Vmax. Fuses (F201 and F202) shall only be replaced with 16A, 250V, type SP manufactured by Schurter, or type 216016.MXEP manufactured by Littelfuse. Line connections must be disconnected within the end system. The AC/DC input connector has not been evaluated at the component level and shall be evaluated upon connection to the end system. The built-in converter shall be powered by a DC supply derived from rectification of mains voltage not exceeding AC 250V. Hazardous voltage is present in the primary circuit — disconnect power before servicing. In the event of a failure, this power supply must be returned to an Astec authorized service center for repair to ensure compliance with safety requirements. The power supply has a bipolar input connector and is fused on the neutral line. The ground wire must be connected only to the grounding point marked with the ground symbol. This power supply is designed for TN-S power systems. This power supply is part of an EDP system and is supplied without a power cord; the end system manufacturer must provide, together with the EDP system, a power cord and plug approved by a safety agency (such as CSA or VDE), with a wire gauge appropriate for the rated input current. This power supply bears the CE mark in accordance with Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC.
