Introduction
TLV61046A is a highly integrated boost converter designed for applications such as PMOLED panels, LCD bias supplies, and sensor modules. It integrates a 30V power switch, an input-to-output isolation switch, and a rectifier diode. It converts input voltage from a single Li-ion battery or two series-connected alkaline batteries to an output voltage of up to 28V.
The switching frequency is 1.0MHz, supporting the use of small external components. By connecting the FB pin to the VIN pin, the default internal output voltage is set to 12V, requiring only three external components to achieve a 12V output. The switch current limit is typically 980mA, with a 7ms built-in soft-start time to reduce inrush current. In shutdown mode, the isolation switch disconnects the output from the input to minimize leakage current. Additional features include output short-circuit protection, output overvoltage protection, and thermal shutdown. Available in a 6-pin, 3mm x 3mm SOT23-6 package.
