The TPS3701 wide-power-supply voltage window comparator has an operating voltage range from 1.8V to 36V. This device features two precision comparators with an internal reference voltage of 400mV and two open-drain outputs (OUTA and OUTB) rated at 25V, used for overvoltage and undervoltage detection respectively. The TPS3701 can be used as a window comparator or two independent voltage monitors; the monitoring voltage is set using external resistors. When the voltage at the INA pin drops below the negative threshold, OUTA is driven low; when the voltage at the INA pin rises above the positive threshold, OUTA is driven high. When the voltage at the INB pin rises above the positive threshold, OUTB is driven low; when the voltage at the INB pin drops below the negative threshold, OUTB is driven high. Both comparators of the TPS3701 have built-in hysteresis characteristics, which can suppress noise and avoid false triggering, thus ensuring stable operation of the outputs. The TPS3701 comes in an SOT - 6 package and has a rated operating junction temperature range from -40°C to 125°C.
