AP2000A is a 1.0MHz fixed switching frequency, high-efficiency synchronous boost converter. It can generate 3.3V from a single AA/AAA battery and deliver over 100mA of output current. The device integrates an internal NMOS main switch and PMOS synchronous rectifier. The 1.0MHz switching frequency enables the use of miniaturized inductors and ceramic capacitors, reducing overall solution size. Current-mode PWM with internal compensation minimizes external component count and improves transient response. In shutdown mode, the AP2000A quiescent current drops below 1uA. Available in a 6-pin SOT-23 flat package, with both fixed and adjustable output voltage versions.
