Introduction
The TPS62085, TPS62086, and TPS62087 devices are high-frequency synchronous buck converters optimized for small solution size and high efficiency. The devices feature an input voltage range of 2.5V to 6.0V, supporting common battery technologies. These devices are primarily intended for high-efficiency step-down conversion across a wide output current range. The converter operates in pulse-width modulation (PWM) mode at moderate-to-heavy loads and automatically enters power-save mode at light loads, maintaining high efficiency across the entire load current range. To meet system power rail requirements, the internal compensation network supports a wide range of external output capacitance values from 10μF to 150μF. Leveraging the DCS-Control topology, these devices achieve excellent load transient performance and output regulation accuracy. These devices are available in a 2mm×2mm QFN package.
