Introduction
A 10-bit successive approximation ADC with a single-ended input and ultra-low power consumption. Built on advanced CMOS technology, it delivers maximum conversion current and standby current as low as 250 μA and 1 μA, respectively. The low current consumption combined with a compact SOT-23 package makes it well-suited for battery-powered and remote data acquisition applications. Communication is via a 2-wire I²C-compatible interface, supporting both standard (100 kHz) and fast (400 kHz) I²C modes. An on-chip conversion clock provides independent timing for the I²C and conversion clocks. The device is addressable, allowing up to 8 devices on a single 2-wire bus. Operates from a single supply with a voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V, and offers excellent DNL and INL errors with a maximum of ±1 LSB for both.
