Introduction
The ISO774x-Q1 devices are high-performance quad-channel digital isolators offering UL 1577-compliant isolation ratings of 5000 V_RMS (DW package) and 2500 V_RMS (DBQ package). The enhanced isolation ratings of this device family comply with VDE, CSA, TUV, and CQC standards. When isolating CMOS or LVCMOS digital I/O, the ISO774x-Q1 devices provide high electromagnetic immunity and low emissions while maintaining low power consumption. The logic input and output buffers of each isolation channel are separated by SiO₂ insulation barriers. The devices feature an enable pin that can be used to place the corresponding outputs in a high-impedance state in multi-master drive applications or to reduce power consumption. The ISO7740-Q1 has four unidirectional channels in the same direction, the ISO7741-Q1 has three forward channels and one reverse channel, and the ISO7742-Q1 has two forward channels and two reverse channels. If input power or signal is lost, devices without the suffix F default to a high output, while devices with the suffix F default to a low output.
