Introduction
The AD8137 is a low cost differential driver that provides rail-to-rail output, making it ideal for driving ADCs in systems requiring low power consumption and low cost. It is easy to use; the internal common-mode feedback architecture allows the output common-mode voltage to be controlled by applying a voltage to a single pin. The internal feedback loop also provides inherently balanced outputs and suppresses even-order harmonic distortion products. Fully differential and single-ended-to-differential gain configurations are easily implemented using the AD8137. An external feedback network of four resistors sets the closed-loop gain of the amplifier. The power-down feature benefits critical low power applications.
The AD8137 is fabricated on ADI's proprietary second-generation xFCB process, enabling high performance and extremely low power consumption levels.
The AD8137 is available in a small 8-lead SOIC package and a 3 mm×3 mm LFCSP package. It is rated for the -40°C to +125°C industrial temperature range.
