It is a silicon oscillator with an easy-to-use analog voltage-controlled pulse width modulation (PWM) function. A resistor RSET can be used to program the frequency of the internal main oscillator. The output frequency is determined by the main oscillator and the internal programmable divider NDIV, which has 8 settings ranging from 1 to 16384. Applying a voltage of 0V to 1V to the MOD pin can set the duty cycle. The minimum/maximum duty cycles of the four versions are different. When the minimum duty cycle is limited to 0% or the maximum duty cycle is limited to 100%, the oscillation will stop under extreme duty cycle settings.
