TECH PUBLIC DW01

DVW01 is a dedicated IC designed for single-cell lithium-ion battery-powered systems (e.g., mobile phone battery packs) to protect lithium-ion batteries from damage or reduced lifespan caused by overcharge, over-discharge, and/or overcurrent. The ultra-compact package and minimal external component requirements allow the DVW01 to be seamlessly integrated into space-constrained battery packs. Precise overcharge protection voltage ensures safe and sufficient charging. The low-power design keeps quiescent current consumption extremely low during both battery operation and storage.

• High-accuracy voltage detection for lithium-ion rechargeable batteries:
  • Overcharge detection voltage 4.28V, accuracy ±30mV
  • Overcharge release voltage 4.10V, accuracy ±50mV
  • Overdischarge detection voltage 2.40V, accuracy ±100mV
  • Overdischarge release voltage 3.00V, accuracy ±100mV
• Low current consumption with OV charge function:
  • Active mode: typical 3.0μA (VCC = 3.6V)
  • Overdischarge state: 1.0μA (max) at VDD = 2.0V
• Operating temperature range: -40°C ~ +85°C
