Introduction
IP5303 is a multifunctional power management SOC integrating a boost converter, lithium battery charge management, and battery level indication, providing a complete power solution for power banks. The high integration and rich feature set of the IP5303 require minimal external components in application, effectively reducing overall solution size and lowering BOM cost. The IP5303 requires only a single inductor to implement both buck and boost functions. The DC-DC converter operates at 350KHz, supporting low-cost inductors and capacitors. The IP5303 synchronous boost system delivers a maximum output current of 1.0A with conversion efficiency up to 91%. Under no-load conditions, it automatically enters sleep mode, reducing quiescent current to approximately 50uA. The IP5303 adopts switching charge technology, providing a maximum battery-side charge current of 1.2A with charging efficiency up to 93%; built-in IC temperature and input voltage intelligently regulate the charge current. The IP5303 supports 1 or 2 LED battery level display. The IP5303 is available in an eSOP8L package.
