CRMICRO CS3818EO

CS3818EO is a 15W (per channel) stereo high-efficiency Class D audio power amplifier. Advanced EMI suppression technology allows inexpensive ferrite bead filters at the output port to meet EMC requirements. It integrates a power-adjustable limiter and DC detection circuit for speaker protection. The power-adjustable limiter allows users to set a virtual voltage lower than the supply voltage to limit the total current through the speaker, while the DC detection circuit shuts down the output stage when the input capacitor fails or the input is short-circuited. The CS3818EO can drive stereo speakers with loads as low as 4Ω, with efficiency up to 90%, eliminating the need for additional heatsinks during music playback. The CS3818EO is designed for LCD TVs and consumer audio equipment.
