CS3815EO is a 15W (per channel) stereo high-efficiency Class D audio power amplifier. Advanced EMI suppression technology allows inexpensive ferrite bead filters at the output port to meet EMC requirements. Internally, it includes a power-adjustable limiter and a DC detection circuit for speaker protection. The power-adjustable limiter allows users to set a virtual voltage lower than the supply voltage to limit the total current through the speaker, while the DC detection circuit shuts down the output stage when the input capacitor is damaged or the input is short-circuited. The circuit achieves up to 90% efficiency, eliminating the need for an additional heatsink during music playback. CS3815EO is suitable for LCD TVs and consumer audio equipment.
