The TPS2597xx series of electronic fuses is a highly integrated circuit protection and power management solution in a small package. Such devices require only a few external components to provide multiple protection modes and can very effectively withstand overloads, short circuits, voltage surges, and excessive inrush currents. A single external capacitor can be used to adjust the output slew rate and inrush current.
