Introduction
SPIDER - TLE7240SL is an eight-channel low-side switch in a PG-SSOP-24 package with embedded protection features. It is specifically designed for relay driving in automotive applications. The device utilizes SPI for control and diagnostics of the device and loads. Four input pins are available for direct control and PWM. The device is monolithically integrated, with power transistors consisting of N-channel MOSFETs. The device is powered by two supply rails: an analog supply supporting 5V and a digital supply with a wide operating voltage range from 3.0V to 5.5V. Regarding PCB layout, all output pins are located on one side of the device, while the other side consolidates signals to the microcontroller.
