Introduction
The OPA171, OPA2171, and OPA4171 (OPAx171) are a series of 36V, single-supply, low-noise operational amplifiers. This series of operational amplifiers can operate within a power supply range from +2.7V (±1.35V) to +36V (±18V). This device uses a miniature package and provides low offset, drift, and bandwidth while ensuring low quiescent current. The single-channel, dual-channel, and quad-channel versions all have the same technical specifications to maximize design flexibility. Different from most operational amplifiers with only one rated power supply voltage, the OPAx171 has a rated voltage range from +2.7V to +36V. Input signals exceeding the power supply rails will not cause phase reversal. The OPAx171 series remains stable with a capacitive load up to 300pF. The inputs can operate normally 100mV below the negative power supply rail and within 2V of the positive power supply rail. Note that these devices can operate on full rail-to-rail inputs 100mV above the positive power supply rail, but the performance will be affected when operating within 2V of the positive power supply rail. The OPAx171 series of operational amplifiers are rated for an operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C. It has the smallest package for a 36V operational amplifier. These devices include limited built-in ESD protection.
