The Model 31 Low Capacity Precision Miniature Load Cell measures tension and compression loads from 50 grams to 500 grams. These models are our most accurate and rugged miniature load cells. The Model 31 features welded stainless steel construction designed to eliminate or minimize the effects of off-axis loading. (The internal structure ensures excellent long-term stability for capacities of 1000 grams and above.) Modified for full welding, this model is suitable for underwater applications. The Model 31 tension/compression load cell features external threaded fittings and delivers high accuracy of 0.15% to 0.25% full scale. Each bonded strain gauge unit is constructed from welded 17-4 PH stainless steel for enhanced durability.

The Model 31 Mid Capacity Precision Miniature Load Cell measures tension and compression loads from 1000 grams to 1000 lbs. These models are our most accurate and rugged miniature load cells. The Model 31 features welded stainless steel construction designed to eliminate or minimize the effects of off-axis loading. (The internal structure ensures excellent long-term stability for capacities of 1000 grams and above.) Modified for full welding, this model is suitable for underwater applications. The Model 31 tension/compression load cell features external threaded fittings and delivers high accuracy of 0.15% to 0.25% full scale. Each bonded strain gauge unit is constructed from welded 17-4 PH stainless steel for enhanced durability. All load cells ranging from 1 kg to 10 lbs capacity include an electronic balance module (approximately 1 inch × 0.087 inch thick) in the lead wire. The balance module does not need to be at the same temperature as the sensor.
