The sensor can detect objects at various ranges depending on target material; for example, the T30R-1515 model has a detection range of 0.15 m to 15 m (0.5 ft to 49.2 ft) and a measurement range of 0.2 m to 15 m (0.7 ft to 49.2 ft). Operates on the FMCW radar principle at an operating frequency of 122 GHz; the T30R-1515 and T30R-4545 have a frequency range of 122 GHz to 123 GHz.
