Introduction
The SH79F1612A is a high-speed, high-efficiency 8051-compatible microcontroller. Operating at the same oscillation frequency, it offers superior performance with faster execution speed compared to traditional 8051 devices.
The SH79F1612A retains most features of the standard 8051, including built-in 256-byte RAM, two 16-bit timers/counters, two UARTs, and external interrupts INT0, INT1, and INT2. In addition, the SH79F1612A integrates 768 bytes of external RAM and an 8052-compatible 16-bit timer/counter (Timer2). The device also includes a 16K-byte Flash block for both program and data storage.
The SH79F1612A integrates not only an EUART standard communication module, but also an ADC with built-in compare function, PWM timer, and other peripheral modules.
To achieve high reliability and low power consumption, the SH79F1612A incorporates a watchdog timer, low-voltage reset, and low-voltage detection functions. Additionally, the SH79F1612A provides two low-power saving modes.
