Introduction
SD690XS is a control IC dedicated to non-isolated LED driving. The peripheral application adopts a floating-ground Buck topology with a built-in 600V high-voltage power MOSFET. In this topology, the IC samples the inductor current internally and utilizes an internal error amplifier to form a closed-loop feedback network, achieving high constant-current accuracy and high input/output regulation. The IC also features integrated PFC control, automatically achieving a high PF value across the full voltage range. The critical conduction mode reduces switching losses and improves system conversion efficiency.
SD690XS integrates various protection functions, including output open-circuit protection, output short-circuit protection, cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection, over-temperature protection, and VCC overvoltage protection.
SD690XS features ultra-low startup current and operating current, enabling efficient driving of high-brightness LEDs across the full voltage input range (85VAC~265VAC).
