Introduction
The NTE74HC151 is a high-speed digital multiplexer in a 16-pin DIP package, utilizing advanced silicon-gate CMOS technology. It combines the high noise immunity and low power consumption of standard CMOS ICs with the ability to drive 10 LS-TTL loads. The NTE74HC151 selects one of 8 data sources based on the address inputs A, B, and C. It features both true (Y) and complementary (W) outputs. The strobe input must be at a low logic level to enable the multiplexer. A high logic level on the strobe forces the W output high and the Y output low. The 74HC logic family is functionally and pin-compatible with the standard 74LS logic family. All inputs are clamped to VCC and ground through internal diodes to prevent damage from electrostatic discharge.
