Introduction
The FlatPAC series combines Vicor's flagship VI-200 series DC-DC converters with modular packaging and front-end sub-assemblies, delivering 50 to 600W output power with 1 to 3 outputs. The series provides a complete, low-profile, agency-approved switching power supply solution. For conduction-cooled applications, a flat-plate heatsink can be specified as an alternative to the standard finned version by appending "-CC" to the model number. The series also offers current-controlled output options using BatMod converter modules, with 12, 24, or 48 VDC outputs, specified by appending "BM" or "BC" (for conduction-cooled versions) to the FlatPAC model number. Mixing VI-200 and BatMod modules within a single FlatPAC is not permitted. Its modern design supports rapid configuration ordering with quick delivery on standard models, making it a complete power supply solution.
