Introduction
By using high-vacuum reed switches with rhodium or tungsten contacts, isolation voltages of up to 15kV can be achieved, making these relays suitable for high-reliability applications such as cardiac defibrillators, test equipment, and high-voltage power supplies. Rhodium contact relays offer low contact resistance, while tungsten contact relays can switch higher voltages. PCB or panel mount versions are available via nylon stud mounting.
