Luminus Chip-on-Board (COB) LED series offers complete illumination-grade solutions for high-performance lighting applications. The series covers a wide luminous flux range — from below 400 lumens to over 10,000 lumens — spanning all major color temperatures, with a CRI greater than 97 and R9 equal to 95 at 2700K and 3000K. These breakthroughs enable lighting engineers and designers to develop lighting solutions with the highest efficiency, brightness, and overall quality.

Luminus COB LEDs are among the most reliable light sources in the world today. They have passed a rigorous series of environmental and mechanical stress tests, including mechanical shock, vibration, temperature cycling, and humidity testing. Only devices that pass these tests are qualified for use in various lighting applications, including some of the most demanding commercial applications. Luminus COB LEDs provide fully qualified LM80 test data and TM21 lumen maintenance results, demonstrating luminous flux maintenance over 35,000 hours or longer to meet the most challenging requirements.

Luminus COB arrays are tested in accordance with ANSI/UL 8750 to ensure safe operation in intended applications. All LED products manufactured by Luminus comply with REACH and RoHS standards and are free of hazardous substances, including lead and mercury.

Each Luminus COB LED is labeled with a 2D barcode containing a unique serial number. Using this serial number, Luminus can provide customers with actual measured test data for a specific LED. In addition, the 2D barcode is linked to a manufacturing date code, enabling traceability of production processes and materials.

Luminus COB products are measured at typical LED operating temperatures within luminaires. Each device is tested at a junction temperature of 85°C, eliminating the need to adjust datasheet specifications to real-world application conditions.

Chromaticity binning provides color consistency for each order. Standard products are binned using 3-step MacAdam ellipses to ensure color performance matching in applications. These tightly controlled, narrow-distribution bins deliver predictable and repeatable color for customers.
