Introduction
The ME6330 series are low-power, high-PSRR, low-dropout linear regulators fabricated using CMOS process technology. These regulators integrate a fixed voltage reference, thermal protection, current limiting circuitry, phase compensation circuitry, and a low on-resistance MOSFET, achieving low power consumption, high ripple rejection, and low dropout performance. The series is compatible with ceramic capacitors that are smaller in footprint than tantalum capacitors, and requires no 0.1μF bypass capacitor, further saving board space. The fast transient response handles load current fluctuations, making these devices particularly suitable for handheld and RF applications. The output can be shut down via the enable pin, with a typical shutdown current of 0μA.
