Low-power RS-422 full-duplex transceiver with 3V to 5.5V supply, operating at up to 20Mbps. The receiver features 1/8 unit load, supporting up to 256 bus nodes, with fail-safe functionality that guarantees a high output when both input pins are open-circuit, short-circuit, or idle. The driver output pins are high-impedance when unpowered, with short-circuit current limiting and thermal shutdown protection to prevent excessive power dissipation from bus contention or bus faults. ESD protection: ±15kV HBM. Operating temperature range in natural convection: -40°C to 125°C.
