The CA-IS36xx devices are members of CATU Microelectronics' digital isolator family, featuring an integrated DC-DC converter with enhanced isolation voltage ratings. The CA-IS36xx series can replace traditional isolated power supply solutions built with discrete components, effectively reducing system board space and simplifying design to achieve complete signal and power isolation.
The CA-IS3621 is a dual-channel digital isolator, where the last digit indicates the number of reverse channels. The CA-IS3640/CA-IS3641/CA-IS3642/CA-IS3643/CA-IS3644 are quad-channel digital isolators, where the last digit likewise indicates the number of reverse channels. All devices feature fail-safe outputs: devices with the suffix "L" default to a low output level when the input signal is lost, while devices with the suffix "H" default to a high output level.
