The AiP1311 is a mono, fully differential input audio power amplifier featuring capacitive boost technology with switchable Class AB/Class D operation, capable of delivering up to 6.5W continuous output power into a 3Ω load. The device integrates an adaptive boost function that draws power directly from the external supply at low output levels, and automatically engages the internal boost circuit when higher output is required. It offers four selectable automatic gain control anti-clipping modes to optimize audio quality and prevent speaker overload damage. The filterless PWM architecture eliminates the need for output filters, and the integrated boost circuit reduces external component count and overall application cost. In addition, the device incorporates built-in overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, and overtemperature protection.
