Introduction
Four-channel Three distinct operating modes: 11-bit: 250MSPS; 11-bit SNRBoost3G+: 250MSPS; 14-bit: 250MSPS (burst mode) Maximum sample data rate: 250MSPS Power dissipation: – 11-bit mode: 365mW per channel SNRBoost3G+ bandwidth: 2x 45MHz or 90MHz Spectral performance at 170MHz IF (typical): SNR: 70.5dBFS in SNRBoost3G+ 90MHz band; SFDR: 85dBc DDR LVDS digital output interface 144 Thermally Enhanced BGA (10mm x 10mm) The ADS58H40 is a high-linearity, quad-channel, 14-bit, 250MSPS ADC. The four ADC channels are divided into two blocks, each containing two ADCs. Each block can be independently configured into one of three distinct operating modes. One operating mode incorporates SNRBoost3G+ signal processing technology to deliver high SNR across bandwidths up to 90MHz while using only 11-bit resolution. Designed for low power consumption and high SFDR, this ADC features low noise performance and excellent SFDR across a wide input frequency range.
