Introduction
The CJ74HC/HCT374 is an octal positive-edge-triggered D-type flip-flop with 3-state outputs. The device features clock (CP) and output enable (/OE) inputs. The flip-flops store the states present at their respective D inputs that meet the setup and hold time requirements on the low-to-high transition of the clock (CP). When /OE is HIGH, the outputs are in a high-impedance off-state. Operation of the /OE input does not affect the state of the flip-flops. Input clamping diodes are provided, enabling the use of current-limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages exceeding VCC. The CJ74HCT374 features reduced input threshold levels, allowing direct interface with TTL logic levels.
