The OV2736 is a 1/4-inch PureCel image sensor featuring OmniVision's RGB-Ir technology, delivering high-end image quality, low power consumption, and advanced functionality. These characteristics make the OV2736 well-suited for a wide range of battery-powered camera applications, including home security and surveillance, high-end video conferencing, and action or lifestyle cameras. It employs a 4x4 RGB-Ir pixel pattern, eliminating the need for dual-camera solutions in devices that require both RGB and infrared imaging. The sensor delivers exceptional performance in near-total darkness, capable of capturing HDR 1080p Full HD video at 60 fps or 720p HD video at 90 fps. The OV2736 uses a dual-band color filter rather than a conventional mechanical IR cut filter, providing excellent image quality in near-total darkness. With a small optical footprint and power consumption of only 110 mW, the sensor integrates easily into mainstream industrial designs.
