TRACO POWER TSR 3-2433N

The TSR 3N is a 3-amp step-down switching regulator series that serves as a direct drop-in replacement for any TO-220 packaged linear regulator. Housed in a compact SIP-3 plastic package, it complements the next generation of point-of-load (POL) converters with a focus on cost-effective design while improving key electrical specifications. The input range is 4.6–36VDC, with output voltages between 1.2–15VDC. Depending on the model, the high-efficiency design allows full-load operation at ambient temperatures up to +90°C (at nominal input voltage) without any heatsink or forced cooling. The TSR 3N series also features other important characteristics such as short-circuit protection, current limiting, and undervoltage lockout. Overall, it offers a wide range of applications across many environments — particularly suited for high-volume projects where the series delivers not only a cost-effective solution but also reduced production costs.
