Introduction
NGD4300-Q100 is a high-performance gate driver designed to drive high-side and low-side N-channel MOSFETs in synchronous buck or half-bridge configurations. Its floating high-side driver operates at rail voltages up to 120V and is powered by a bootstrap supply with an integrated diode. Both the low-side and high-side output drivers feature independent UVLO circuits that disable the output drivers when the driver supply voltage falls below their respective threshold levels. The NGD4300-Q100 accepts input control signals as low as 2.5V (±10%) compatible with TTL and CMOS signal standards. A low voltage supplied by an internal voltage regulator powers the circuitry in the signal path that controls the low-side and high-side power switches. This enables low-power operation and more controlled driver performance regardless of the IC supply voltage. The low-side and high-side signal paths achieve excellent delay matching of 1 ns (typical). The driver output stage provides 4 A peak source current and 5 A peak sink current capability, ensuring short rise and fall times even under heavy loads. The NGD4300-Q100 is available in an HSO8 package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. This product is AEC-Q100 (Grade 1) qualified for automotive applications.
