Introduction
The MAX811X series is a microprocessor reset IC with voltage detection functionality and an enable control pin, designed to monitor the supply voltage of microcontrollers or other logic systems. It provides a reset signal to the system during power-up, power-down, and power-saving conditions, or when the supply voltage falls below the preset threshold voltage Vth. When the supply voltage rises above Vth during power-up or voltage recovery, or when the enable pin MR transitions from low to high, the VRESET output will go high after a delay of Trp. In the MAX811X series, VRESET output goes low when the input voltage falls below the threshold voltage Vth, and also goes low when the enable control pin MR is at a low level. Simple to use with no external components required.
