Introduction
CA-IS3417WT-Q1 is an automotive-grade low-EMI, optocoupler-compatible enhanced isolation high-voltage solid-state relay. The primary input stage uses an analog e-diode that maintains optocoupler input characteristics while offering superior consistency, long-term stability, and higher reliability. Unlike conventional photo-MOS relays, its transfer characteristics do not degrade due to optical aging over time. Compared to traditional mechanical relays, the CA-IS3417WT-Q1 supports a higher number of switching cycles and offers a longer service life. The secondary side integrates back-to-back SiC MOSFETs with a breakdown voltage of up to 1700V. The superior high-temperature characteristics and reliability of SiC MOSFETs enable stable operation at elevated ambient temperatures. The CA-IS3417WT-Q1 is housed in a 12-pin wide-body SOIC package with a pinout compatible with mainstream photo-MOS relays. The isolation voltage between the primary and secondary sides is up to 5kV RMS @ 1 minute, with normal operation supported across the automotive temperature range (–40°C ~ 125°C).
