Descrizione
KEMET's X8G high-voltage Class I dielectric offers a maximum operating temperature of 150°C, delivering the latest high-temperature dielectric technology and reliability for extreme-temperature applications and under-hood environments. The X8G exhibits no capacitance change with voltage and minimal capacitance variation with ambient temperature. It serves as a suitable replacement for high-capacitance, large-body devices that cannot provide capacitance stability. From -55°C to +150°C, capacitance change is limited to ±30ppm/°C.
Driven by demand for more robust and reliable components, X8G dielectric capacitors are developed for critical applications requiring reliability and capacitance stability at elevated operating temperatures.
These capacitors are widely used in automotive under-hood and harsh-environment applications, as well as general high-temperature applications.
In addition to commercial-grade products, automotive-grade versions are available that meet AEC-Q200 certification requirements of the Automotive Electronics Council. Flexible termination technology is also offered, which suppresses the transfer of board stress to the rigid ceramic body, reducing flex cracks that could lead to low insulation resistance or short-circuit failures.
