The MIC2774 is a dual power supply monitor providing undervoltage monitoring, manual reset, and power-on reset generation in a compact 5-pin SOT package. Features include two undervoltage detectors — one fixed and one adjustable — plus reset output selection. One undervoltage detector compares VDD against a fixed threshold. Ten factory-programmed thresholds are available. The second user-adjustable input is compared against a 300mV reference voltage. This low reference voltage enables monitoring of voltages lower than those supported by previous monitor ICs. The reset output is asserted at power-on and whenever either voltage falls below the programmed threshold, remaining asserted for at least 140ms after the voltage subsequently rises back above the threshold. Manual reset is implemented via a switch connected between ground and the /MR input. A wide selection of voltage thresholds accommodates various supply voltages and tolerances. Hysteresis is included to prevent noise-induced glitching. Typical supply current is as low as 3.5μA.
