Introduction
This antenna uses PIFA technology and should be mounted on a ground plane. For multilayer PCBs, adding vias helps ensure smooth interconnection of the ground areas and prevents ground plane splitting. A ground clearance is required around the NC pad and RF feed pad on all PCB layers. A matching network is recommended in the application to optimize antenna impedance; components may be placed beneath the antenna. Dimensions are 50.00 x 25.00 x 10.00 mm, RoHS/RoHS II compliant, MSL Level 1.
