NPC-410 Series solid-state pressure sensors are designed to provide a cost-effective solution for applications requiring long-term stability and high yield. This series features a DIP configuration suitable for PCB mounting. Optional pressure port and pin configurations offer exceptional flexibility in low-profile applications where pressure connection orientation is critical. The NPC-410 Series is based on NovaSensor's advanced SenStable® piezoresistive sensing technology. Using the latest silicon micromachining technology, piezoresistive strain gauges are ion-implanted into a Wheatstone bridge configuration formed integrally on a micromachined diaphragm. The sensor can be excited with either constant current or constant voltage. Offset and sensitivity temperature compensation and calibration can be achieved by adding external resistors. The NPC-410 Series covers pressure ranges from 0 psi to 5 psi (0 bar to 0.34 bar) up to 0 psi to 100 psi (0 bar to 7 bar). For other pressure ranges, please contact NovaSensor.
