Descrizione
Honeywell's basic board mount pressure sensors, including the TBP Series and NBP Series, are designed for potential medical and industrial applications in both food-grade and non-food-grade environments. These unamplified piezoresistive silicon pressure sensors provide a ratiometric output; the TBP Series is temperature compensated, while the NBP Series is uncompensated. The TBP Series is temperature compensated and unamplified — the compensation feature reduces the need for periodic system-level temperature calibration, simplifying sensor integration and minimizing device-to-device variation; the series offers multiple pressure signal resolutions with a compensated temperature range of 0°C to 85°C [-32°F to 185°F]. The NBP Series is uncompensated and unamplified, making it typically the ideal choice for customers who prefer to perform their own compensation, calibration, and amplification to take full advantage of the maximum resolution of the raw sensor output and apply any algorithm suited to their application; this series also offers multiple pressure signal resolutions. These products are available in a variety of package styles and mounting options to facilitate integration by device manufacturers into their applications. They are suitable for use with non-corrosive, non-ionic gases such as air and other dry gases, and when the gel coat option is selected, also with non-corrosive, non-ionic liquids. All products are designed and manufactured to ISO 9001 standards and are NSF certified. Certain configurations have received food-grade certification. Contact the factory for food-grade options.

- Compact package size as small as 7mm × 7mm [0.276 in × 0.276 in]
- Operating temperature range: -40°C to 125°C [-40°F to 257°F]
- Reflow mounting per J-STD-020E, MSL 1; rapid stabilization post-reflow, allowing immediate post-installation calibration
- Media compatibility options: Without gel coating on the media path, the inlet port is restricted to non-corrosive, non-ionic media such as dry air and gases; must not be exposed to condensing environments; gases limited to media compatible with high-temperature polyamide, silicone, alumina ceramic, silicon, gold, and glass. With silicone gel coating on the media path, the same materials are used in the wet media path, but condensation is prevented via silicone-based gel coating, suitable for applications where condensation may occur.
- For specific configurations, sensor materials have been tested and certified to the following food safety standards (applicable to specific configurations only): NSF-169, BPA-free, LFGB
