The A1365 linear output Hall-effect sensor IC is designed to deliver high-bandwidth, high-resolution, high-accuracy output in current sensing applications. The device employs piecewise linear interpolation temperature compensation to provide greater precision in sensitivity and offset voltage adjustment, achieving near-zero temperature drift — a significant improvement that substantially reduces total error over the operating temperature range. The user-activated self-test diagnostic mode verifies the A1365's sensitivity and over-field fault functionality, enabling a high level of functional safety in the application. The highly programmable over-field fault signal (FAULT pin) can be used to detect high magnetic field conditions, and also includes broken ground line detection, undervoltage lockout when VCC falls below specification, and user-selectable output voltage clamping — all critical for high reliability in automotive applications.
