Introduction
TPS7A91 is a low-noise (4.7μV_RMS), low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator capable of delivering 1A load current with a maximum dropout voltage of only 200mV.
The TPS7A91 output is adjustable from 0.8V to 5.2V via external resistors. Its wide input voltage range supports operation from 1.4V to 6.5V.
The TPS7A91 achieves 1% output voltage accuracy across the full line, load, and temperature range, and features a soft-start function to reduce inrush current — making it ideal for powering sensitive analog low-voltage devices such as VCOs, ADCs, DACs, high-end processors, and FPGAs.
Designed to power noise-sensitive components, the TPS7A91 is well-suited for high-speed communications, video, medical, and test & measurement applications. With an ultralow output noise of 4.7μV_RMS and wideband PSRR of 40dB at 1MHz, it minimizes phase noise and clock jitter — maximizing the performance of timing devices, ADCs, and DACs.
