The TPS7A24 is available in both fixed-voltage and adjustable-voltage versions. The fixed-voltage version requires no external resistors, minimizing PCB footprint. For greater flexibility or higher output voltages, the adjustable-voltage version uses feedback resistors to set the output voltage between 1.24V and 17.75V. Both versions offer 1.25% output regulation accuracy, enabling precise regulation of MCU reference voltages.
At 200mA, the TPS7A24 LDO features a maximum dropout voltage of less than 250mV, making it more efficient than standard linear regulators. This maximum dropout voltage achieves an efficiency of 92.8% across an input voltage (VIN) of 3.55V to an output voltage (VOUT) of 3.3V.
