Introduction
The TLV713 family of low-dropout (LDO) linear regulators features low quiescent current and excellent line and load transient performance, making them ideal for power-sensitive applications. These devices provide a typical accuracy of 1%. The TLV713 family is designed to operate stably without an output capacitor. Removing the output capacitor enables an extremely compact solution size. However, if an output capacitor is used, the TLV713 family can also operate stably with any output capacitor. The TLV713 also provides inrush current control during device power-up and enable. The TLV713 limits input current to a defined current limit to prevent large currents from the input power supply. This feature is particularly important for battery-powered devices. The TLV713 family is available in standard DQN and DBV packages. The TLV713P provides an active pull-down circuit for rapid discharge of the output load.
